Vision is an important part of learning at Advanced Vision Therapy Center in Boise Idaho

 

Everyday in our schools students are presented with information that they are required to look at, interpret, and process that information. For years it was believed that the eyes had nothing to do with learning. That is definitely not the case. Did you know it is estimated that 80% of what we learn is through visual information?

Troubles with eye tracking can complicate many everyday functions Advanced vision Therapy Center Boise Idaho

 

Eye tracking, also referred to as visual tracking, is the ability of one's eyes to “track” from left to right in an efficient manner, and “follow” the movement of objects. Eye movements should be smooth and consistent, with the ability to be completed quickly.

Convergence insufficiency is a binocular vision condition treated at Advanced Vision Therapy Center Boise Idaho

Convergence insufficiency is an eye teaming condition that responds to vision therapy

 

Convergence insufficiency is an eye teaming deficit that affects approximately 8% of people (that is 4 times more prevalent than glaucoma or an eye turn).
