Susan is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist. She received her degree in Occupational Therapy from Ohio State University. Susan currently serves on the advisory board for the COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) program at Brown-Mackie College.
Susan has 17 years experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist. The past 16 of those years working specifically with students with a variety of learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, ADD / ADHD, as well as behavior and sensory processing disorders.
Susan is certified in Interactive Metronome (IM) therapy. She provides IM therapy for a variety of learning and processing disorders relating to academics as well as sports performance.
As a Board Certified Occupational Therapist specializing in academic vision, sports vision performance, and processing disorders; Susan provides assessments and treatment for: Sensory integration, developmental delays, perceptual skills, amblyopia, strabismus, reading and academic vision problems, binocular vision problems, vision rehabilitation, and sports vision. Assessments and treatment available for both adults and children.
Our binocular vision and sensory integration center has been established for over 20 years. Areas of speciality include: Integrated Academic Therapies, Interactive Metronome Therapy, ADD / ADHD, Autism Specturm Disorders, Sensory Motor Processing and Sports Vision.
